Join local glass artist, Rachael Durkan from The Glass Cabin at 10am or 1pm for one of her popular festive fused glass workshops.NEW FOR 2026: Choose your own workshop!
In this session you will have 2 hours to complete whichever design you choose giving you the flexibility to create that piece you have been keen to try. Designs must be selected at the time of booking.
Enjoy a fun, informal, and relaxing taster workshop where you’ll learn the basics of kiln-formed glass techniques while creating your very own glass piece. Rachael will have lots of ideas to inspire you and is on hand with design advice throughout the workshop. No previous experience is needed – just bring your curiosity and creativity!
Rachael will then take your finished pieces away to be kiln fired. They will be available for collection from the barn approximately 10 days after the workshop. These workshops are suitable for age 16+ (under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult).
Please select which option you would like at the time of booking.
Choices for this workshop include:
* Baubles (make up to 3)
* Christmas Trees (make up to 2)
* Christmas wreath
If you would like your finished piece to be standing rather than hanging, wooden stands are available to purchase from Rachael directly on the day.
