Festive Feathers & Felting – November 15th 9.30-12.30Get into the Christmas spirit with a wonderfully creative morning combining beautiful owls, festive treats and needle felting!
Join us for Festive Feathers & Felting, a truly unique Christmas workshop where you’ll enjoy an unforgettable hands-on owl experience before learning a new craft and creating your very own mini owl wreath to take home.
Your morning begins at 9:30am with our expert falconer and some of our beautiful owls. You’ll have the opportunity to meet, handle and even fly a selection of owls, which may include our Barn Owl, Tawny Owl, Eagle Owl and more. Get up close, take some fantastic photos and discover more about these incredible birds — the perfect inspiration for the crafting session ahead!
After your owl encounter, it’s time for a well-earned break in our tea room with a cup of tea or coffee and a delicious slice of cake.
Then it’s time to get creative! Led by Sonia from Felted Friends by Sonia, you’ll be guided step-by-step through the art of needle felting, learning how to transform soft wool into your very own festive mini owl wreath. No previous experience is needed, and Sonia will be on hand throughout to help you create something you’ll be proud to take home and display this Christmas.
