Festa Cultural in the East Village — Cultural Party at SEEDS / Legacy In Motion AcademyJoin us for a night of music, movement, culture and community in the East Village!
Festa Cultural is the Saturday-night celebration of our Capoeira graduation (Batizado) weekend, organized by Legacy In Motion Academy — open to our students, friends and the broader community.
Throughout the evening:
• Brazilian, Latin & Deep House music with our DJ
• Karaoke
• Games & giveaways
• Live Capoeira demonstration
• Mocktails and non-alcoholic drinks
• Dancing, music and community
Both SEEDS and Legacy In Motion Academy will have activities throughout the evening, creating different spaces to socialize, play, dance and enjoy the celebration in a fun, welcoming and safe environment.

Donations from the weekend help support Iowa's annual Capoeira events and contribute toward the costs of bringing guest instructors and students together for training, rodas, performances, graduation ceremonies and cultural programming.
A special thank you to SEEDS for contributing their space for the evening celebration and helping make Festa Cultural possible. We encourage everyone attending to learn more about SEEDS and the programs they are building in the East Village.
