Join us in the Moss Park Community Garden for an afternoon of fermentation, food, and learning!About this Event
In this hands-on workshop, we’ll explore the tradition and science behind fermentation, including its history, cultural significance, and the role fermented foods can play in our diets.
Then we’ll get hands-on and make a large batch of sauerkraut together. Each participant will be able to choose their own spices and take home a jar to continue fermenting at home.
If you have a fermented or pickled food that you love, you’re also welcome to bring some to share with the group. This is completely optional..
All workshop materials will be provided.
