BOOK CLUB IN ENGLISH
Welcome to the Feminist English Book Club where we choose a book (written in English by a woman or a queer person) and then discuss it and share our thoughts once we’re together.
This month we have chosen to read: "Yesteryear" by Caro Clarke Burke
Here is a pitch of the book :
Natalie lives a traditional lifestyle - and has the social media accounts to prove it. Her charming farmhouse on her working ranch is artfully cluttered, her husband is a handsome cowboy, her homemade sourdough boules are each more beautiful than the last. So what if there are nannies and producers and industrial-grade ovens behind the scenes?
This book club is open to women who speak fluent English. There will be 10 of us maximum and given the time of the event, you can bring something to eat if you feel like it.
