So I'm part of the team, in partnership with Band on the Wall, hosting the first Felabration in Manchester! 🎉My company, HUSH Events, is flying the flag this Black History Month to celebrate one of Africa's biggest music icons, Fela "Anikulapo" Kuti. 🥁🌍
This is the globally celebrated festival honouring the pioneer of Afrobeat, and we're bringing it to Manchester for the very first time. Headlining is Dele Sosimi, who played keyboards in Fela's own Egypt 80 band, joined by Olusegun & The Stallion Band and the incredible Ara. One night of pure Afrobeat energy.
