We are throwing a Friendsgiving multi-track acro event with Matt Berno! Matt is know for being one of the first people involved with bringing acrobatics to Raleigh! Matt is a passionate practitioner and teacher who has dedicated himself to the work of partner acrobatics. He started his circus journey in 2017 and has travelled world wide for teaching. In this weekend we will be open to all levels. Our focus (working with Matt) will be on standing skills such as H2H, F2H, monos, and banq. variations (subject to change depending on the crowd). The beginner track will be focused on building strength needed for basing and flying standing skills, developing your handstand, and tumbling! On Friday we will have a fun intro into movement and connection with our bodies and have an evening jam. On Saturday we will start the group as a whole then divide into beginner and advanced/intermediate groups. We will be having a potluck after acro where we will discuss topics of Connection, Communication, and Community. On Sunday we will continue with our multi-track forum and end with a jam and bonfire celebration with fire spinning at Angela’s raptor refuge in Clayton (expect to see some owls!). Our mission with this event is to bring a higher level of acro to the Triangle and build community and safety through all levels of experience with acro. Pricing:
