A feather’s character comes from its details, and in this class, those details won’t stop at the front of the pendant. In our Feather Pendant class, you’ll practice sawing and soldering techniques while creating a detailed feather design with two finished sides. The project brings nature-inspired design and hands-on metalwork together in a pendant that offers something to see from either direction.
This intermediate-level class is designed for makers ready to build on their jewelry-making experience. You’ll strengthen your control at the bench while exploring how sawing and soldering can work together within a more detailed project.
Your instructor, Kim St. Jean, is Tucson Jewelry School’s resident artist and has more than 25 years of jewelry-making teaching experience. She’ll guide you through the techniques used to bring your two-sided feather pendant together.
