About this Event
Join us for a very special evening at Manchester Museum: a three-course feast created by young people from Greater Manchester Youth Network alongside chefs from Eat Well MCR and Proloco.
On Monday 2 November, we’ll take over the magnificent Living Worlds gallery at Manchester Museum for an evening celebrating food, creativity and everything that can happen when people get around a table together.
Over six workshops, chefs Mary-Ellen McTague, Ruby Tuesday-Ward, Ruby Sturgess and Richard Carver have been cooking alongside young people from GMYN. Together, they’ve explored the magic of dough, the art of pickling, the complexities of butchery and the delights of oils and vinegars.
Now, we’re bringing everything they’ve learnt to the table.
The result will be a generous, heart-warming feast of fluffy focaccia, earthy pickles, delicious roast chicken with salads and sides, finished with an indulgent chocolate cake.
And we’d love you to join us.
