The Filipino Community of Seattle is proud to invite you to the opening reception of our newest exhibition at the Tanggapan Gallery. Sama-Sama (Tagalog for "together" or "all together") celebrates the power of Fil-Am representation through the lens of three incredible local visionaries:
π¨ Shayla Pascua Hufana: A multidisciplinary artist known for her vibrant, soulful work that explores heritage, healing, and the beauty of the Filipino diaspora. Her pieces invite us to see ourselves reflected in every stroke.
πΈ Terrence Jeffrey Santos: A storyteller and photographer whose work captures the heartbeat of the community. Terrenceβs lens focuses on the raw, joyful, and authentic moments that define our shared identity.
π Bennyroyce Royon: An acclaimed choreographer and director who translates the Filipino experience into movement. Bennyroyce brings a dynamic exploration of how joy and history live within the body.
