Directed by Kathy Quinn, the choirs will perform Fauré’s beautiful Requiem, joined by the ConTempo String Quartet, Pauline Graham (soprano), Owen Gilhooly-Miles (baritone) and organist Michael Quinn.
The programme also includes Massenet’s Méditation, Stanford’s A Song of Trust and the first movement of Stanford’s String Quartet No. 2.
Professor Harry White, Emeritus Professor of Music at University College Dublin, will present a pre-concert talk exploring the connections between Irish and European classical traditions.
