Every story needs influence, and yours starts in the stars of Witch City.
Step into the Pickering House, the oldest home in Salem, for a private, story-woven tour where every room reveals a new star, of the house's history and yours. Angelica Cresci, Hellenistic astrologer, occult educator, and Hades devotee, will guide a community reading of Salem's own natal chart, unpacking what the stars had to say about Salem's beginnings (is the city secretly a Virgo?), while Cook & Co pairs each room with sips and snacks built to match the moment.
Each room paired perfectly with the stars:
- The Library: What was written in the stars the day Salem was born? We're spilling the tea, literally, with a menu steeped in the flavors of the city's earliest days.
- The Parlor: Spice, silk, and a fortune charted by sail. A rich, opulent spread fit for a merchant fleet coming into harbor, worthy of the trade that built this city.
- The Dining Room: Edward Charles Pickering once mapped the night sky from this very room, employing some of the first official female scientists of Massachusetts. Tonight, we set a starry, glittering table sourced entirely from women-owned kitchens.
- The Barn: Together, we read the natal chart of the day itself, the stars overhead tonight, and what they mean for this room, this house, and everyone in it. Then we raise a glass to it.
