Be inspired to give your clothes a new lease of life!Join Costume maker and tutor Lara Skowronska for this fun and friendly upcycling workshop - maybe you have a favourite pair of jeans with a hole or a top that needs a little love, this class is for you! Find fantastic ways to transform unwanted or slightly over loved items into something you can cherish again. Come along and join our workshop, pick from a range of fabrics, trims and embellishments to help transform your piece of clothing. Tutor Lara is a freelance Costume maker who counts Giffords Circus, Boomtown Festival, HBO and the BBC amongst her many clients, so you’ll be guided by the best - she’s endlessly encouraging and full of fun creative ideas.
All basic materials will be provided, and there will be extra embellishments and trims available to buy on the day. You are welcome to bring along anything special you may want to use. You can also to bring your own sewing machine if you’d like specific help with that, but it’s absolutely not essential.
If you have any specific ideas for the workshop please get in touch beforehand and we can advise. All materials will be provided but you will need to bring along an item to be upcycled, if you are completely stuck for a piece do get in touch prior to the class and we will sort something out.
