About this Event
MOJA DESIGN STUDIO 2026 – “NUT: Under Her Sky”
Inspired by Nut, the ancient Egyptian goddess of the sky, the MOJA 2026 collection reimagines her celestial realm as a symbol of protection, resilience, and renewal. Through contemporary couture, the collection celebrates the eternal cycles of the sun and moon and the promise of a new dawn, reminding us that light will always return.
The showcase will also feature selected designs created by MOJA who extensively shared in the designs of the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, celebrating Egypt’s rich cultural heritage through the lens of contemporary fashion.
A wonderful collaboration between the Egyptian Cultural and Educational Bureau (ECEB), Embassy of Egypt, and the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Asian Art, and under the auspices of H.E. Mohamed El-Molla, Ambassador of Egypt in Washington.
