About Farmland Preservation:
Farmland Preservation is a statewide program that places permanent conservation easements on farmland in partnership with farmers.
Farmers receive easement payments to protect their land, often using the funds to pay mortgages, buy equipment, or expand acreage. This support can make continued farming financially possible.
ACCD administers the Farmland Preservation Program in Allegheny County on behalf of the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.
For questions, contact Madeleine Sheinfeld at [email protected].
Event participants may be photographed or filmed by Allegheny County Conservation District, its sponsors or their respective employees, agents and assigns, and the photograph and/or other digital reproduction of participants or physical likeness may be published in print, digitally and/or electronically, in any media including, without limitation, the internet.
We aim to make our events as accessible as possible. This space is indoors, wheelchair accessible and restrooms will be available. Speakers will use microphones. To inquire about additional accessibility needs, please email [email protected]
