Ready, set, ghoul! 🎃👻 The City of Farmers Branch Parks and Recreation is thrilled to announce the inaugural Farmers Branch Fall Fest & Spooky Dash on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the Farmers Branch Historical Park!We’re combining the best of our long-standing Halloween in the Park and Haunts & Houses traditions with the debut of the Spooky Dash 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run into a single, action-packed community experience.
🏃 SPOOKY DASH 5K & 1-MILE FUN RUN
Lace up your running shoes and don your favorite Halloween costumes! Navigate scenic routes winding through the Farmers Branch Historical Park, Gussie Field Watterworth Park, Mustang Station, and surrounding neighborhoods. Race bib, event T-shirt (guaranteed to the first 500 registrants), and a custom drawstring bag. Timed 5K participants also receive finisher medals and age-group awards.
Note: Space is strictly limited to 750 runners across both events!
🍁 FARMERS BRANCH FALL FESTIVAL
Following the morning races, the grounds open for a full day of autumn fun! Enjoy free admission, live stage entertainment, costume and screaming contests, carnival rides, trick-or-treat stations, and interactive game booths.
Festival Highlights: Trick-or-treating, game trucks, silent disco, rides, strolling Halloween characters, face painting, balloon artists, photo opps, and more.
