About this Event
An evening of live storytelling, music, food, trivia, and a silent auction benefiting Investigate Midwest’s independent public service reporting.
You’re invited to join us on the evening of Thursday, Nov. 12. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with the program beginning at 6:30. Local storytellers will share personal tales related to growing food, preparing meals, family traditions, agriculture, and the role that food plays in the Midwest.
Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy live music, food and drinks from the Trumpet Blossom Cafe, a trivia game between stories, and a silent auction. The event is designed to bring people together in a relaxed and engaging setting while learning more about Investigate Midwest’s mission and its reporting on agriculture, food systems, and rural communities.
Proceeds from the evening will support Investigate Midwest’s nonprofit newsroom and educational efforts.
There’s always a tale behind what’s on the table. Come listen to local storytellers and spend the evening with us!
