FARGO turns 30!Celebrate the 30th anniversary of Joel and Ethan Coen’s darkly comic crime classic, back on the big screen where its strange, funny and unforgettable story belongs.
Set against the snow-covered landscape of Minnesota, Fargo follows desperate car salesman Jerry Lundegaard, whose plan to have his wife kidnapped quickly spirals into murder, mayhem and a very determined police investigation.
Frances McDormand gives an unforgettable, Oscar-winning performance as the quietly formidable Police Chief Marge Gunderson, alongside William H. Macy, Steve Buscemi, Peter Stormare and Harve Presnell.
Equal parts crime thriller, black comedy and character study, Fargo is one of the Coen brothers’ most beloved films and a true 1990s classic.
Join us for this special 30th anniversary screening as part of our monthly Retrospectives series.
