Monthly Village News for November 2026...From Claire Thompson:
Frank has given me the opportunity this week to write the newsletter column so I can announce that after a wonderful 10 and a half years spent working at the Village, the time has come for me to resign from my position and move on to my next chapter in life. My last day will be this Monday, November 2.
Working at the Village is different from many other jobs, in that working here means being part of a truly special community. I treasure all the connections I've made with members and volunteers over the years, and will miss getting to see everyone on a regular basis.
It has been so inspiring to watch the Village grow and evolve in leaps and bounds over the past decade. And, with the addition of the Village Square, I know that the organization will have an ever increasing impact on the surrounding community. I've seen countless friendships form between neighbors who would have maybe never met without the Village to connect them, and am glad to know that these connections will continue to form long into the future.
There will be a farewell party at the Village Square on Thursday, November 12 at 5:00 pm.
