The name Far Across the Sea originally comes from the Cantonese pronunciation of the Lunar New Year flower marketโใ่ฑๅธใ(faaยน siโต), sounding like โfar seaโ. It reflects the experience of celebrating our cultural festivals far across the sea from home.
This September, weโre bringing that same warm and joyful community spirit to Brightonโs Moon Festivalโcreating something that feels familiar to ESEA communities while welcoming everyone to discover and enjoy the richness of our cultures.
