About this Event
This September, Far Across the Sea returns to Brighton with a new celebration inspired by the Moon Festival.
Celebrated in different ways across East and Southeast Asia, the season is associated with gathering together, giving thanks and sharing food with family and community. Traditions and meanings vary between cultures, making it a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the diversity of our communities here in the UK.
Bringing the warm and joyful spirit into the autumn season, the event will feature a curated selection of:
- East and Southeast Asian food and drinks
- Independent artists and makers
- Arts, crafts and cultural products
- Community stalls and activities
