Our friends of Music and Résistance present a deathrock / goth-postpunk night with Fangs on Fur (USA), Cathaphiles (GER) and Brutal Brutal (CH).Fangs On Fur is a Los Angeles-based female-fronted goth-punk/deathrock band. Their music blends elements of gothic, punk, post-punk and deathrock, with a strong female-fronted vocal style. They have released two albums: "Fangs on Fur" and "Full Speed and Pagan" which they will be playing this year on one of their longest European tours.
Cataphiles sound is deep and restless with sharp riffs and relentless rhythms, while the dual male and female vocals clash and intertwine. They have also released two albums: "Cathapiles" and "Shadow Self", both are a collision of punk’s serrated edge, gothic rock’s brooding intensity and death-rock’s unfiltered menace.
Brutal Brutal is a Zürich based cold punk band with influences from deathrock and oi.
