DMCO is thrilled to present our premier concert under our new name, led by our new conductor Dr. Jonathan Sturm.This concert will have something for everyone, featuring Copland’s majestic “Fanfare for the Common Man”, Gounod’s
“Funeral March for for Marionette’s (best known as the theme music for “Alfred Hitchcock Presents”), music from the movies Halloween, and King Kong, as well as 3 classical pieces: “Mars” from Gustav Holst’s The Planets, Beethoven’s Corlianus Overture, and the rarely performed Symphony #1 by Rimsky- Korsakov.
