About this Event

Fun sessions for little yogis aged between 2 to 7 years old (younger siblings can join is as well) and their parents. Join Mary Sheppard, Rainbow Kids and Family yoga teacher and co-create some fun family yoga poses.

Rainbow Kids & Family yoga classes are interactive, social, and all about connection. We will co-create the class together in a magical and playful way using lots of creativity sprinkled throughout the class.

We use games, partner and Acro yoga, stories, music, dancing, art, mindfulness and relaxation to bring yoga alive for children.


Loving kindness Family Yoga - 8th February

Our February Heart opening loving kindness themed Family yoga workshop is the perfect opportunity to bring get active indoors during the cold winter months. We will open our hearts by exploring backbend poses and themes of loving kindness to ourselves and others.


Spring Gratitude & Mother’s Day - 15th March

For this Mother’s Day and start of Spring, we will explore the theme of a gratitude practice and how it can support us everyday in our relationships and in life. We have many things in our lives we have to be grateful for and a gratitude practice can be a great opportunity to connect and express our appreciation for each other and the world around us.


Easter - 19th April

We will explore some fun Easter themed yoga poses, breathing activities, games, and mindfulness and relaxation.


Nature Inspired - 10th May

Bringing the outdoors inside with nature inspired yoga. In this nature and animal inspired yoga class you’ll learn to arch your backs like a cat, stretch your limbs like a tree and flow like a waterfall to help learn body awareness and appreciation.


Father’s Day - 21st June

For this Father’s Day, give the gift of love and connection by practicing some family yoga. We will explore fun partner poses, mindfulness games and activities.


The Sea, Ocean Animals & the Beach - 5th July

We will explore the worlds oceans and seas as we practice some fun ocean animal yoga poses and ocean inspired mindfulness and relaxation practices.
