Help us spread kindness to our neighbors with winter crafts and cards! These handmade gifts will be delivered to neighbors who live in local assisted living homes, sharing love and cheer ahead of the holidays. Our crafts are geared toward kids ages 3 through elementary school, but all are welcome to participate. Children must be accompanied by a caregiver. Feel free to bring extra Halloween candy to donate to local organizations!
Where: Common Market Co-op on 7th Street, Community Room. Please note: Common Market has two locations in Frederick. We are meeting at the 7th Street location. When you enter the store, take a left and walk through the café area. At the back of the café is the community room entrance, where we’ll have a sign and the doors open.
Who: Our family volunteering program welcomes families with kids of all ages. Service projects are designed so that kids as young as 3 can meaningfully contribute. Children must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.
About Mini Changemakers: Mini Changemakers is a Frederick nonprofit dedicated to empowering children and families to serve the community together. Mini Changemakers offers ways for even the youngest children to get involved with volunteering through a hands-on preschool class and monthly family volunteering events.
We can't wait to serve and learn with your family!
