Join an interactive family tour and discover ancient history together with hands-on activities and dressing up!In this interactive tour, you’ll have a chance to:
• Make a clay pot in an Iron Age roundhouse
• Join a Roman shield wall and defend against incoming attacks
• Hear the epic tale of Beowulf and Grendel in the Mead Hall
• Strike your own coin to take home
• Carve a Viking rune aboard our Viking boat
This tour is specially designed for children aged 7-11 and their grown-ups.
There is a choice of two timeslots available:
11.00 am – 12.30 pm
1.30 pm – 3.00 pm
Booking required, £9.25 for both adults and children.
Under 5’s are free. Each adult and child over 5 will need their own ticket.
