Multiple In-Person Play Sessions Every Week
About this Event

Our playroom in the main branch of the Cleveland Heights library is open for in-person play sessions. Each 2-hour session has a limited number of spots for families. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. If you can no longer attend please, be sure to cancel your registration, so we can open a spot for another family.
Family Connections playrooms are for families with children birth to 6 and are designed to support early childhood development, build community, and make connections through interactive adult-child play. Each playroom is an imaginative, hands-on, space for young children and their caregivers. Our playrooms feature carefully chosen play materials that stimulate children’s natural curiosity to discover and explore.
Where: Cleveland Heights Library Playroom (2340 Lee Rd, Cleveland Heights)
Who: Children birth - age 6 and their caregivers.
Family Playroom sessions are also available in our playroom in the Shaker Heights Main Library. Click here to learn more and register for our other programs.

“The American Academy of Pediatrics strongly endorses the use of safe and effective infection control measures to protect children and adolescents. COVID-19 vaccination, ventilation, physical distancing, testing and use of a well-fitting and comfortable face mask or respirator are all part of a comprehensive strategy to mitigate risk and help reduce the spread of COVID-19. Masks remain a simple but powerful tool to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

“The AAP strongly recommends that all individuals over the age of 6 months receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Additional layered prevention strategies may also be important depending on individual and community level risk…”

Weather Policy: Family Connections Playrooms close when the Cleveland Heights/University Heights and Shaker Heights schools close for weather. Please watch your local listing.
