You are invited to participate in a family friendly, guided nature hike at Sandhill Preserve, one of Orange County’s Green PLACE properties, on Saturday, December 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. The pace will be slow and accommodating, giving kids plenty of time to explore their surroundings, stop for breaks, or simply enjoy the sights and sounds of nature.
As part of the inaugural Green PLACE Hiking Spree, attending this “Family Hike” will help you get closer to earning rewards for hiking Green PLACE properties. The event runs from National Public Lands Day on September 26, 2026, to Earth Day on April 22, 2027. The Green PLACE Hiking Spree is a great way to discover the remarkable variety of landscapes, plants and wildlife of Orange County.
