ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS
Yaritsa Sanchez (NASM-Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor)
Yari brings energy, heart, and a deep passion for movement to every 1:1 session and class that she leads. She focuses on functional fitness, strength, and cardio, and is all about meeting people where they are. Yari believes that movement is for everyone, no matter age or ability level and is best explored in community.
Valerie Abrigo Rivera
Valerie Abrigo Rivera is a bilingual Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Holistic Wellness Practitioner based in Dorchester. She is certified in Yoga, Reiki & Sound Healing, with specialized training in Yin Yoga & the yoga4cancer methodology. Valerie believes in the value of slowing down to prioritize self-care in sustainable ways and normalizing judgement-free conversations about mental health & wellbeing in all communities. She supports individuals learning to manage the effects of strong emotions, chronic stress and burnout, impacting both daily functioning & interpersonal relationships.
Angela Owens
Angela Owens is a New England face and body painter with over 12 years of experience bringing creativity and color to events of all kinds. For Family Fun Day, Angela will offer complimentary face painting for all ages, featuring whimsical designs and festive holiday-inspired choices. She looks forward to adding a little magic, imagination, and fun to the day!
