Parenting in today’s digital world can be challenging. This family education event will focus on helping families navigate social media, devices, online safety, communication, and conflict resolution in today’s digital climate.
Families will learn about:
- Current social media trends, apps, and devices used by today’s digital generation
- How to promote online safety and healthy technology habits
- Device management strategies before and after giving children access to devices
- Healthy communication and conflict resolution
- The positive and negative impacts of digital media
- Ways to create and maintain healthy transparency around social media and device use
- Practical tips and tools for safeguarding children and families
Participants will leave with a better understanding of the what, why, and how of navigating digital media and supporting children in a technology-filled world.
Childcare will be provided in the 3K room.
