About this Event
Come join us for an afternoon of fun activities and crafts! Inspired by the geological forms on display in the Museum of Natural History and Artificial Curiosities exhibition, participants will create their own original rock companions using a variety of craft materials such as paint and googly eyes. We will walk through the basics of creating a fun geo pal, but your creativity will bring them to life. Children of all ages are welcome to participate. The event is free to attend, and all craft materials (including rocks) will be provided. Participants are welcome to bring in their own rocks, but we'd ask that they are cleaned prior to arrival and handheld size or smaller. Making a reservation guarantees you admission to the event, but walk-ins are also welcome.
