About this Event
Join us on Saturday, October 17 in the Bellarmine Hall Classroom and learn how to draw like an egyptian! Explore ancient Egyptian art by decorating a sarcophagus, using symbols, colors, and patterns inspired by pharaohs and their beliefs about the afterlife. When done with your creation, sign it in true ancient Egyptian style by designing your own cartouche, a special oval frame where pharaohs wrote their names.
Each Family Day event includes sessions from 12:30-2 p.m. and 2:30-4 p.m., with engaging arts & crafts activities led by Museum Educator Elizabeth Vienneau. Learn more about our current exhibitions here!
Please note: participants can only sign up for one session. If you cannot attend Family Day, we request that you cancel your reservation either through Eventbrite or by emailing [email protected]. Frequent no-shows will result in the inability to register for additional Family Day programs. Thank you!
