In this class, students will use handbuilding techniques to create a wall hanging depicting a scene of their imagination. They will get to use underglazes to paint details to bring their scene to life.Participants will receive a short studio tour & get to pick the perfect glaze for their creations. All participants’ work will be checked/looked over by the instructor to ensure it will survive the firing.
SCCA staff will fire and glaze all pieces following the class. Participants will be emailed when their pieces are complete and ready for pickup. This takes a minimum of 4-6 weeks.
