We will meet at Crossroads at Big Creek (2041 Michigan Street, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235) at 07:00 in the main parking lot. We will travel in a short circuit around the Visitor Center looking for migratory songbirds. We will then visit several other Sturgeon Bay birding hotspots (Ship Canal Overlook Trail Recreation Area, USCG North Pier, Portage Park) to try to find a wide diversity of late fall migrants and early winter specialties. Sturgeon Bay is one of the premier birding locations in the state.Accessibility details: Handicap parking available. Trails are level boardwalk, gravel, or grass with occasional rough surfaces. Bathrooms available at Crossroads location only.
