Lace up your sneakers and join us for our Fall Road Race! There is truly something for everyone here, from tiny tykes to those eager to embrace their competitive edge.This year's event is extra-special as the CMC will be supporting MOVEMBER - Canada's leading men's health charity that's dedicated to improving the health of men and boys. This is an opportunity for our running community to get moving, have fun and make a difference as proceeds from the event will support this important cause. As part of the fun, a draw will be held for a Movember Swag Pack at the Fall Road Race!
Now the race details! First out of the gate will be our 21.1 km participants at 8:30 a.m. sharp for a closed course of two loops along our beautiful bike path down to St. Lawrence College and back. The route runs along the St. Lawrence River and is overall flat with a few gentle inclines just for fun. It is ideal for a fast race or one of a more leisurely nature. We are a dog-friendly group but require canines (and their owners!) to be respectful and leashed . . . dogs, not racers!
This event - as well as our 5 and 10k out-and-back races, also on the bike path - will feature professional timing and posted results by CS Timing. Go chase your PBs!!
There will also be U14 kids' 1km and 2km races, too. Guaranteed to be full of excitement!
Event Schedule:
8 a.m. - Registration and bib pick-up
8:30 a.m. - 21.1km start (half-marathon course is open for 3 hours)
9 a.m. - 1km and 2km starts
9:30 a.m. - 5km and 10km starts

Nothing fancy here, good times, lots of friendly faces and smiles, post-race snacks, plus chip times for the 5km, 10km and 21.1km!
Volunteers will be required for a successful event. This is a great opportunity for high school students to get their all-important volunteer hours. Help will be required for things like set-up, registration, and aid stations. If you have a few hours to spare, please sign-up as a volunteer on the registration site.
