Dive into Digital Art: SketchyGOichie DRAW! Fall Workshops! 🍂
Fall into creativity with SketchyGOichie DRAW! Our Fall Workshops are the perfect way for kids ages 7+ to turn autumn inspiration into awesome digital art! Over 10 weeks, young artists will work alongside professional illustrators and expert art educators to explore new techniques, develop their creative skills, and bring their ideas to life using industry-standard iPad drawing tools. Whether they’re just starting out or already love to draw, every artist will have a chance to learn, create, and grow in a fun, welcoming, and collaborative environment. Let’s make this fall a season of creativity!
🧡Ages: 7 and above
🧡Sessions: Once a week on Saturdays, 09/19/26 – 11/21/26
🧡Location: SoCo Art Labs (418 Quequechan St 2nd Floor, Fall River, MA 02723)
🧡Time: 12PM to 1:30PM
🧡Cost: $30 per participant (drop-ins are welcome)
What to Expect:
- All art materials, including the use of iPads with drawing apps and accessories, will be provided (iPads remain with us).
- Classes are limited to 15 students to ensure focused attention for everyone.
- Easy-to-follow lessons with supportive instruction and guidance from toy and video game industry professionals.
- Parents and guardians will receive a link to download their artist’s work and track their progress after each session.
- Participants will have access to our Digital Image Library, offering helpful art resources.
- At the conclusion of the 10-week workshop, we will host a “Kids Art Show” event to showcase the students’ artwork. Family and friends can view and purchase the digital masterpieces, with all proceeds going to the artist.
- All participants will be welcomed into our SketchyGOichie creative community.
Meet the Instructors:
Roger Andrews (Lead Educator): With over 25 years of experience in the art industry, Roger Andrews has worked with top companies like Hasbro, Puma, Toyota, Lucas Licensing, and Disney. He specializes in conceptual illustration and character creation, making him an excellent mentor for your child.
Ashlianna Felix (Teachers Assistant): Ash is a graphic designer and illustrator specializing in merchandise design, promotional graphics, and animated emojis. She has collaborated with brands like Disney, Paramount, and Dreamworks. With a background in early childhood education, she also teaches drawing to school-aged artists.
