Welcome the fall season with our WoCRW Mini Fall Retreat — an intimate evening of movement, connection, and restorative self-care created by and for BIPOC women.
Hosted by Women of Colour Remake Wellness (WoCRW) and Ashley Owusu-Ansah, in partnership with Uppliva Nordic Spa, this 2.5-hour experience invites you to slow down, move with intention, and pour back into yourself as we transition into a new season.
We’ll begin with a 45-minute Pilates session led by Ashley Owusu-Ansah, designed to strengthen, stretch, and ground the body. From there, we’ll transition directly into relaxation and enjoy the remainder of the evening experiencing Uppliva’s restorative Nordic spa circuit.
This isn’t just Pilates followed by a spa visit — it’s a collective fall reset. A chance to nurture your body and mind, reconnect with yourself, and spend an intentional evening alongside other BIPOC women in our community.
🧘🏽♀️ Event Flow: What to Expect
4:30 PM – 5:15 PM | Pilates with Ashley Owusu-Ansah
Ease into the evening with a 45-minute Pilates session focused on intentional movement, strength, mobility, and connection to the body.
5:15 PM – 7:00 PM | Private Uppliva Spa Experience
After Pilates, change into your robe and settle into the spa. Enjoy Uppliva’s restorative Nordic circuit, with plenty of time to relax, connect with other participants, enjoy light refreshments, or simply take some quiet time for yourself.

A waffle spa robe, organic bath towels, sandals, and a personal locker for the duration of your visit.

Enjoy Uppliva’s hot and cold baths, saunas, and rain showers, with organic body wash, shampoo, and conditioner provided.
🌸 Handcrafted Self-Care Treats
Enjoy complimentary aromatherapy body salts, handmade in-house using organic ingredients.
🌼 Attentive Care
Dedicated Spa Attendants will be onsite to welcome our group, oversee the circuit, and help create a smooth, safe, and restorative experience.
🥂 Light Refreshments
A selection of light refreshments will be available to enjoy throughout the evening.
✨ An Intimate Fall Reset
To keep the experience comfortable and intimate, space is limited to just 20 participants.
Come as you are, move with us, slow down, and welcome the fall season with community, connection, movement, and some much-deserved rest.
💳 Payment Options
We want to make this experience as accessible as possible. Participants can choose to pay the $120 ticket price in full at registration or select our two-payment option: $60 now and $60 at a later date.
If you select the payment-plan option, details regarding the deadline and method for your remaining payment will be provided after registration.
Please note that selecting the instalment option is a commitment to the full $120 ticket price. The first $60 payment is not a standalone ticket or deposit. Cancelling your registration after making your first payment does not waive the remaining balance.
🎟️ Refund, Cancellation & Transfer Policy
Due to the upfront costs and limited capacity associated with this private event, all registrations and payments are final and non-refundable. This applies to both tickets paid in full and tickets purchased through the instalment option.
If you can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible. Once you cancel your registration, you are releasing your spot, and it may be offered to someone on our waitlist or made available for another participant to purchase.
If your spot is subsequently filled by another participant, this does not entitle you to a full or partial refund, reimbursement, or credit/discount toward a future WoCRW event.
Once a cancelled spot has been reassigned, we cannot guarantee that it can be returned to the original participant if their plans change. If space remains available, you are welcome to register again.
We are unable to provide refunds, partial refunds, or future-event credits for last-minute cancellations or no-shows, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
The only exception is if WoCRW cancels the event, in which case participants will be refunded for payments made.
