Fall is here, and we’re excited to go explore Pioneer Park seeing how plant prepare for winter. Join us on a leisurely walk through the park, where you can expect to learn about native plants and their roles in the larger ecosystem. We’ll also share some plant identification tips and tricks.
All ages welcome, no experience necessary.
Where: Pioneer Park, Meet at the corner of Island Crest Way and SE 68th St. Follow VOLUNTEER EVENT Signs
What to bring: Dress for the weather in clothes you’re comfortable walking in. You might want to bring a note book for notetaking, or a camera to take pictures of the flowers!
