Every fall, Hatch Street Studios opens its doors and welcomes the community inside for one of our biggest events of the year. Join us Saturday and Sunday, November 14 & 15, 2026, from 11 AM–5 PM for Fall Open Studios at 88 & 90 Hatch Street in New Bedford.Home to the South Coast’s largest communities of working artists, Hatch Street Studios fills two connected historic mill buildings with an incredible range of art and creativity. Open Studios is an opportunity to go beyond the hallways, step inside the studios, and experience the spaces where our artists create every day.
Explore both buildings at your own pace, meet the artists, learn about their work and creative processes, and discover painting, pottery, photography, illustration, sculpture, jewelry, textiles, mixed media, and much more.
Our Hatch artists are at the heart of the weekend. Many will have original artwork available for purchase directly from their studios, giving visitors the opportunity to connect with the person who created the work they’re taking home. Whether you’re an art collector, searching for a one-of-a-kind holiday gift, looking for inspiration, or simply curious about what happens behind the doors at Hatch, there is always something new to discover.
And there’s more to explore beyond the studio doors.
Throughout the weekend, visitors will also find a thoughtfully selected mix of guest artists, makers, and vendors, along with artist demonstrations, community partnerships, food, and special additions happening throughout Hatch. Each is being selected to complement the experience of Open Studios while introducing visitors to even more of the creativity found throughout the South Coast.
Fall Open Studios is free and open to the public. Bring a friend, bring the family, spend an hour or make an afternoon of it. Wander, discover, shop, ask questions, meet the artists—and experience Hatch Street Studios from the inside.
