About this Event
Fall migration is one of the most exciting times of the year for bird lovers. Each autumn, millions of birds travel through southeast Michigan as they make their incredible journeys to wintering grounds across the southern United States, Central and South America. Thanks to Michigan’s location along two major migration flyways – the Mississippi and the Atlantic—we have the opportunity to witness an amazing diversity of species passing through our region. And if we’re really lucky—passing through our yards!
Finding reliable sources of food and water is essential for migrating birds as they rest and refuel for the next leg of their journey. Join us for this FREE program to discover how you can support birds in your own yard this fall, which species you can expect to see throughout the season, and how best to attract them to your space.
Registration for this program is not required, but recommended as seating is limited. Light refreshments will be served.
