Math Circles are Saturday gatherings for children who enjoy puzzles, patterns, strategy, surprising questions, and the pleasure of figuring something out together. The Fall 2026 season runs September 5 through November 21 at The Number Garden in Portland's Hollywood District. Children explore rich problems through conversation, conjecture, hands-on play, and mathematical discovery—not worksheets, speed tests, or memorized tricks.
Saturday groups:
• Ages 3–4 + parent: alternating Saturdays, 9:00–9:30am
• Ages 5–6 + parent: alternating Saturdays, 9:00–9:30am
• Ages 7–8: Saturdays, 9:45–10:30am
• Ages 9–10: Saturdays, 10:45–11:45am
• Ages 11–13: Saturdays, 12:00–1:00pm
Tuition is $120 for the six-session parent-child groups and $240 for the 12-session older groups. Enrollment is for the full fall season.
Curiosity matters more than speed or already knowing advanced mathematics.
