Join us for our annual Fall Floral Arranging Class at Fall Festival! You will learn how to create a stunning floral arrangement, creating an inviting fall floral centerpiece of your own!
Bring your own container and collect flowers and other beautiful plant materials from McCrory Gardens to create your own arrangement during our Fall Festival!
Instructor Christina Lind will artfully guide the process and provide tips to make your own beautiful fall floral arrangement! Christina was previously the Education Coordinator at McCrory Gardens and is well-familiar with the gardens. She will lead you through the gardens to seek out plant materials to use for your design.
For this in-person class, please bring with you:
-A container for your arrangement (not too big, not too small). Think basketball size or slightly smaller. A natural container, such as a basket with a liner works well.
-A piece of floral foam is definitely a great idea!
-Garden shears
-Gloves
-A container to hold the plant materials you collect from throughout McCrory Gardens (a 5-gallon pail can work well for this)
Wear weather appropriate clothing and shoes (gardens can be wet, muddy).
We will spend some time in the gardens, gathering plant materials and then be creating arrangements in our indoor space. Get your friends together and make plans now to register and attend. (Just an FYI that no refund is possible for this event. Eventbrite is experiencing a platform issue and while Eventbrite is correcting the issue, while it may appear that a refund is possible if the event is greater than 7 days out, please note that it is an Eventbrite issue that they are working to correct and the policy for this class is that no refund is permitted.) This class is a fun chance to experience the Gardens in a whole new way!
