Come sing with us.
You are invited to join us for a Fall Equinox community singing ritual where we’ll weave together song, meditation, reflection, and seasonal ritual through the framework of the Work That Reconnects, developed by Joanna Macy.
No singing experience is needed. All voices are welcome. We’ll learn easy-to-sing songs together by ear, creating a participatory experience where there is no performance to prepare for and no need to be a “good singer.” You are welcome to come exactly as you are.

Join community song leader Sarah Bentley, musician & ritualist Gregory Alexander, and friends as we gather to mark this seasonal holy-day.
The Fall Equinox is a time of balance between light and dark—a natural invitation to pause, reflect, release, and give gratitude for the abundance of the season. Through song, meditation, and ritual, we’ll explore our relationship with ourselves, one another, and the Earth.
The Work That Reconnects offers a framework for remembering and nurturing our deep connection to the living world. Together, we’ll make space for joy, belonging, curiosity, grief, healing, ancestral honoring, and a sense of interconnectedness with all living beings.
This ritual is an invitation to sing yourself home and embody the parts of yourself that long for peace, joy, and belonging.
We’ll sing songs born out of grief, gratitude, resilience, and ancestral honoring. As we connect with the resonance of these songs, may we experience our heart and body as one, remember our shared humanity, and deepen our connection to the Earth.
Everyone is welcome
Our community singing circles are intentionally inclusive and family-friendly.
You do not have to be a “good singer.” You don't need to read music, audition, or prepare anything beforehand. There is simply an invitation to explore your voice in a supportive environment, learn songs together, listen deeply, and discover the sense of connection that can arise when many voices become one.
Whether you sing all the time, haven't sung since childhood, or aren't sure you're a singer at all—there is a place for your voice here.

Sliding-scale tickets: $20–$50 + fees
No one will be turned away due to inability to pay.

A few things to know
Please bring a bottle of water, and perhaps an item for the altar if you'd like to contribute one.
Please plan to arrive by 4:45 PM to get settled in the sanctuary so that we can begin on time.
