About this Event
Do you love getting lost in a good book but struggle to carve out reading time? Are you intrigued by the idea of a book club but want to read what YOU like? Monthly Silent Book Club is for you!
We'll have an hour of solo reading time between 6pm and 7pm. Then, until 7.30pm, you're welcome to keep reading or you can join in with the chat from 7pm and find out which books others have been enjoying, or rave about your current read. Drop in any time you like. Teens and adults welcome.
You'll enjoy free hot drinks, comfortable seating and uninterrupted time to read.
There's no assigned reading. Bring your own reading materials or ask one of our Library Assistants for recommendations. All readers and formats welcome. You can even bring your own blanket, cushion, snacks, headphones, or whatever makes you feel comfortable.
