FALA Fest: Shorts Edition Film Festival

FALA Fest: Shorts Edition brings Los Angeles filmmakers, artists, and audiences together for a weekend of independent film, industry conversation, networking, and community in the heart of the NoHo Arts District.
Produced by Future Artists of Los Angeles and hosted at the LACAE Theater, FALA Fest celebrates the people who live, work, and create in Los Angeles, from filmmakers, actors, writers, and directors to producers, editors, cinematographers, designers, crew members, and the multihyphenate artists who keep finding ways to make the work happen.
Come discover new films, meet the artists behind them, connect with fellow members of the Los Angeles creative community, and spend the weekend celebrating independent filmmaking.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 2
Evening | FALA Fest Meet & Greet + Networking Mixer
North Hollywood (Location TBA)
Kick off FALA Fest with filmmakers, artists, festival guests, and members of the Los Angeles creative community at our opening-night mixer.
Meet the filmmakers whose work you'll see throughout the weekend, make new connections, and start the festival with the people who make independent film happen.
Additional location and event details will be provided to ticket holders.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3
LACAE Theater | NoHo Arts District
Saturday is the centerpiece of FALA Fest, with three screening blocks of selected short films followed by an industry panel, keynote, festival awards, and evening mixer.

Throughout Saturday, Sawyer's Playhouse becomes a dedicated festival lounge where filmmakers and attendees can meet, recharge, exchange ideas, and continue conversations between screenings.

FALA Fest: Shorts Edition is produced by Future Artists of Los Angeles, a nonprofit organization supporting the next generation of performers, filmmakers, and creative professionals through education, training, artistic opportunity, and community.
