FaithTech London BUILD 2026 - Tickets

BUILD is FaithTech London's annual hackathon, bringing together technologists from across the UK who are passionate about the intersection of faith and innovation. ‍ Every October, developers, designers, product managers, and creative thinkers gather in London for a weekend to work on challenges that matter. This year we're at Here East, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, one of the UK's most iconic innovation hubs. ‍ The format is simple: each team of around 10 people works alongside a charity or ministry on a real problem. Over 30 hours you build a new feature, develop a prototype, or exploring how emerging technology could serve a ministry in a completely new way. ‍ BUILD is more than a hackathon. It's a space where our love for Jesus meets our technical skills, where we gather as a community to build technology that redeems, restores, and reflects God's kingdom. ‍ Past projects have raised funding and launched as products serving communities across the UK and beyond. The weekend is the spark. The work keeps going.

Info: Arrive from 6pm

Info: Dinner will be available from 6.45pm and will be rolling until we begin. We will try to keep food for anyone who has let us know they'll be late.

Info: We'll kick things off at around 7.15pm with a Welcome and Introduction to the event, giving you all the information you'll need for Build.

Info: We will have a short time of worship and prayer together

Info: We will hear a short 90-second pitch from each of the Christian organisations about their submissions, to help choose which project you would like to be part of

Info: Each organisation will place themselves around the room and be available for conversations and questions. This is when you'll choose your project and the teams will form

Info: Once teams have formed, we encourage all teams to pray together before beginning work

Info: Start building!

Info: Breakfast will be available from 8.30am for all

Info: A time to pause work, come together for a short time of worship and prayer, and hear a thought from one of our speakers.

Info: Lunch will be provided from 12.30

Info: A chance to take some time out and join attendees just coming for the afternoon/evening, hearing from our keynote speaker.

Info: Work finishes! Take a breath, and think about all that has gone on over the previous day.

Info: Each team will give a 2-min presentation/demo of what has been built.

Info: There are no winners or losers, but there will be a peer-vote for fun!

Info: Thank you for all your efforts, and hopefully see you next year! We hope and pray that all of the projects from Build will continue in some form after the event and throughout the year, however there is no expectation on team members to stay involved (unless you want to of course!)
