You are warmly invited to join us for this important seminar with Henare Whaanga, as we explore the deep connections between faith and Te Ao Māori through the lens of Scripture.Henare will unpack how a biblical worldview speaks into Te Ao Māori within today’s cultural landscape, equipping us to discern, engage, and honour cultural practices in a way that glorifies Christ. Together, we will consider how whakapapa and key Māori traditions can be understood, filtered, and harmonised with biblical truth—providing clarity for Christians seeking to navigate both worlds with wisdom and grace.
Don’t miss this opportunity to deepen your understanding of how whakapapa and faith intersect in the light of God’s Word.
The Wānanga consists of 3 segments designed to ease whānau into the topic and create a safe space where we can kōrero face to face as a group on real but touchy issues.
