About this Event
Hike Time: 1hr
1.3mi Length 144ft Elevation gain
Check out this 1.3-mile loop trail near San Pedro, California. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 32 min to complete. This is a popular trail for hiking, running, and walking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.
Highlights include beautiful views, diverse wildlife, and a generally quiet atmosphere. Challenges are unkept sections and potential safety concerns. It's recommended to hike with others and during daylight.
Once again this will be a short, pretty easy, but meaningful hike!
I invite you on your own to engage in quiet reflection—whether through meditation, journaling pre or post hike, or simply being present with your thoughts. This is a time to reset, connect, and embrace the beauty around us.
Here are some spiritual and introspective prompts to consider and use in preparation for the hike to help guide meditation, journaling, or quiet reflection:
Journaling & Writing Prompts:
- New Beginnings: What is one aspect of your life you are ready to renew or transform? What small step can you take today toward that change?
- Letting Go: What is something I need to release—whether it’s a thought, habit, or past experience—that no longer serves you?
- Gratitude & Growth: What challenges have shaped you into who you are today? How have they strengthened you?
- Purpose & Direction: If you had no fear or doubt, what dream would you pursue? What is holding you back?
- Self-Compassion: If you could speak to yourself as a loving friend, what words of encouragement would you offer?
Meditation & Reflection Questions:
- As I breathe in this fresh air, what positive energy do I want to invite into my life?
- What lessons can I learn from nature’s resilience, beauty, and stillness?
- What does my heart truly desire in this season of life? Am I honoring that calling?
- How can I align my daily actions with my deepest values and purpose?
- In this present moment, what do I feel most grateful for?
