About this Event
Fairy Garden Trail Vancouver is a magical community event at VanDusen Botanical Garden where elementary school students showcase imaginative fairy garden installations in support of BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. Fairy wings and magical outfits are welcome.
Public Event Schedule
12:15 PM — Doors Open to the Public
Explore the fairy garden installations created by students from across Vancouver, vote for your favourite for the People’s Choice Award, and be entered into a prize draw.
🎻 12:15 PM – 12:30 PM — Fairy Violin Performance by Fairy Strings with Sandy
🪩 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM — DJ Rock'N'Beau Performance
🦉 12:15 PM – 1:30 PM — Live Animal Experience
🧘 1:30 PM – 2:00 PM — Kids Yoga Adventure with Tara
A magical yoga adventure for children led by Tara, Co-Founder of Uphoria Yoga.
🎸 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM — Live Music with Rachelle Joan
🎨 Ongoing Activities Throughout the Day Until 4:00 PM

Guests can explore the student installations, vote for their favourites, and enjoy a full day of magical programming and activities.
The public event takes place inside the BMO Great Hall at VanDusen Botanical Garden. Guests attending Fairy Garden Trail Vancouver do not need to purchase admission to VanDusen Botanical Garden in order to attend the event in the Great Hall. However, access to the gardens themselves is not included with event admission. Guests wishing to explore the gardens before or after the event may purchase separate garden admission tickets directly through VanDusen Botanical Garden.
A minimum $10 donation per person, collected at the door in support of BC Children’s Hospital Foundation, is required for public admission.
Private Opening Celebration (By Invitation Only)
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
A special private celebration for participating students who created installations, along with BC Children’s Hospital families.
Guests will enjoy:
