Synopsis
FAIRS'26 is intended to allow PhD and MRes/MPhil students working on AI related projects to discuss their research and issues around doing a PhD with senior scholars in the field and with other Forum attendees.
The event includes:
- Guidance on conducting research and writing the thesis.
- Advice on undergoing a viva.
- Advice and discussion on careers after a PhD.
- An opportunity to present and discuss your work (5 min PPT presentation) with senior researchers and practitioners.

Ticket cost: £35 +VAT
(Prices stated are inclusive of fees)
Refunds/Cancellations:
We will issue a refund, excluding fees, if we receive a cancellation request within 14 days of the booking date or by noon on Monday, 7 December 2026; otherwise, we will allow name substitutions after this date.
Our events are for adults aged 16 years and over.
This meeting is conducted in accordance with the BCS Code of Conduct for Meetings.
